My Services

A more confident, fulfilling path forward.

I help adults and adolescents
better navigate life’s trials and transitions.

Teens

The past few years have challenged all of us in many ways, and middle and high school youth have been particularly impacted by isolation, anxiety, grief, and trauma. Put simply, their natural growth and development, along with reliable social connections and community, have been completely upended. I work with youth to create context for understanding these experiences, protect themselves from high-risk situations, develop resilience through coping skills, and find their way forward with greater confidence.

Adults

Let’s face it: “adulting” can be tough. Between high-stakes responsibilities including family and career, managing relationships, and finding time for emotional and physical self-care, feelings of overwhelm, sadness, and anxiety are an understandable part of our experience. Often those feelings lead us to a place of feeling “stuck,” whether in a frame of mind, a habit, or an unproductive relationship dynamic. I help clients get “unstuck,” by identifying the source of their feelings, questioning the stories we all tell ourselves, and building skills to write a new story.

Relationships

Relationships with others—whether spouse or partner, parent or other family member, or friends—come with challenges. They take work. I help clients navigate their relationships by better identifying and responding to dynamic patterns and working to repair rifts. My goal is to equip clients with insights and strategies that help them achieve the greatest fulfillment from relationships in their lives.

Parents

As a parent of two children, I know firsthand the intense experience—the highs and lows—of each stage of parenthood. The volatility of the pandemic has only intensified the emotional experience of parenting, with many feeling guilty about lost experiences and challenged by the balancing act of work and life. For those parents recovering from childhood trauma of their own, finding footing as parents can be even more challenging. From pregnancy and postpartum anxiety/depression to navigating developmental stages and bonding with teen/adult children, I help parents both process their own emotions and equip them to help their children cope with challenges.
